Identity Theft

Yup people, you read correct! I fell victim to identity theft today. The good news is they caught it in time and the scum bag won't be getting away with it. I was working out and the phone rang. I told Ben, "working out, not home." *Sorry to all of you that call and this happens, working out is a priority right now.* Anyways, after I called my bank back, they told me that someone tried to use my credit card in Italy this morning. I was like, "hold on, I don't even have a credit card with you guys." Come to find out when we closed our account last year, they didn't close out my credit card but did Ben's. I strictly remember closing all of our cards and then shredding them. Thus, I thought they had closed my credit card and debit card as well. WRONG-O Apparently the bank didn't and I had a card still active. I was livid. So, the good people at my bank took care of it. I was a little shocked to be honest. This crap is pathetic. We shouldn't have to worry about it, but some yahoos who are lazier than heck need to bum off of us to get by. I wish I lived in the 1800s when none of this crap existed and guns were the law and I could give em a what for and make em think twice before messin with me and my family!
Welp, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Whoa!!! Too crazy! Makes me scared. I'm surprised that hasn't happened to me yet. It happened to Bub ya know. He could tell you all about it. I agree with the 1800's comment. Round em' up. I'm all ready for some good ole' western justice!

Wow! Glad they caught it though. And I hear you about the gun. I am actually going to agree to Aaron having a handgun one day, although he doesn't know that tidbit yet.

I am sorry to hear about that. We had someone buy music off of napster with my card a few months back. Crazy stuff. You are too funny when you describe it.(I understand it's not a funny situation). But I am glad to hear that you got it taken care of. I have a gun you can borrow if need be.

I know the feeling it makes you sick. When we got our car stolen they got lucky and got my purse. Come to find out they really like to hit the bar. The Bank was nice and flagged my card. I'm with you 1800's just come and try to mess with the Bennett's.
